To date, 62 carriers have been reported. Homoplasmy was reported in 42/62 carriers (67\.7%), and 43/62 carriers (69\.4%) were affected. In one unaffected carrier, a marked tissue\-specific difference was observed, with higher mutation loads in blood (56%) than in urine (24%).
